Pacific Gas and Electric Co. officials are waiting for the San Francisco Fire Department to determine that the site of an underground vault explosion Tuesday afternoon is safe before allowing PG&E investigators inside. PG&E spokeswoman Tamar Sarkissian said the incident caused no reported injuries and no related outages. According to the fire department, the explosion occurred around 4 p.m. at Drumm and California streets.
