A man was stabbed in the back last night in Ingleside, while playing cards with an acquaintance. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but has since been listed in stable condition. The suspect, 51 year-old Augusto Soriano, of San Francisco, tried to run from police but was arrested a couple blocks away.

Tong Van Le, 44,owner of Nasser Market in Bernal Heights and father of two, was murdered at his Navato home on Saturday. The widely assumed reason, according to SFPD, is because he testified against two suspects who robbed his store a month earlier. Police think that Le may have been followed home from his store to his house by the assailant(s). No arrests have been made.
