    A San Francisco man was sentenced Thursday to 22 years in federal prison for aiding and abetting a 2002 gang murder, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced Friday. Aquil Peterson, 24, pleaded guilty in January to committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering, admitting that, armed with an AK-47, he helped kidnap and beat Joseph Hearns before Hearns was shot in the head on Aug. 23, 2002.
