My neighbors who use the 6 Parnassus on the hill above Haight Street are angry that all their protestations were completely ignored by MTA staff. The 6 will still come from downtown but bypass the steep hills of Ashbury Heights and go down Haight Street to connect with Parnassus from Stanyan Street.

We checked out the Renaissance Faire on Sunday in Golden Gate Park, and...it was a complete and total blast. We saw live jousting, a group of people re-enacting The Merry Wives of Windsor, the truly awesome dancing musicians pictured above, and pirates, outlaws and the odd ninja or samurai.

Certainly, there are rentals in the area but mainly, this is a steady, reliable residential neighborhood. Yet, it is important to differentiate within the Sunset. The Inner Sunset, Central Sunset and Outer Sunset all have micro-markets as do the Parkside and Outer Parkside districts.
