Sad news: Scoop received reports that Albert Tordjman has died in Pattaya, Thailand, at age 57. As chef-owner of the Flying Saucer, Tordjman brought eclectic high-style dining to the Mission/Noe Valley when he opened in a then out-of-the-way corner of Guerrero and 22nd streets in 1990.
